3 Good Practice Statements– Discussion took place around whether the term the Statements  “minimum practice” statements or whether they should be “Good practice” practice statements.  All agreed to accept “Good Practice” as a our terminology through this group of publications.

Moving on….. We agree to ask for 3 volunteers from members (plus Andrea Cartwright), to blindly Peer review the two current Good Practice statements.

Following that –Once approved,  then they will be disseminated to the NNNG group for comments about the usefulness of the statement, before moving on to looking at further Good practice Statements.

This process was agreed as the template for the evolution and publication of further Good Practice Statements.

Discussion took place around whether we should offer a place on the website for all local policies / procedures.  Agreement gained to restrict this to the Yahoo website only when asked for information, and not for it to be volunteered as local guidance will differ from centre to centre.
